Dwar Kelmasel
Kelmasel hija logħba tal-kliem bil-Malti, b'xejn, b'logħba ġdida kuljum. L-isem ġej minn kelma u għasel: bħal naħla li tiġbor l-għasel, int tiġbor il-kliem mill-ittri tax-xehda.
M'hemmx bżonn toħloq kont jew tniżżel xejn. Iftaħ is-sit, u l-logħba tkun hemm tistennik.
Kif tilgħab?
Kuljum ikollok seba' ittri f'forma ta' xehda: ittra waħda fin-nofs u sitta madwarha. Għandek 5 kelmiet biex tagħmel l-ogħla punti possibbli — mela agħżel tajjeb!
- Kull kelma hemm bżonn ikollha mill-inqas 4 ittri.
- Kull kelma trid tinkludi l-ittra tan-nofs.
- Tista' tuża l-istess ittra aktar minn darba.
- Kelma ħażina ma tgħoddx — ma titlifx waħda mill-5.
GĦ u IE
GĦ u IE huma ittri waħedhom. Għalhekk f'Kelmasel jidhru f'kaxxa waħda fix-xehda u jgħoddu bħala ittra waħda. Per eżempju, għajn għandha 4 ittri: GĦ-A-J-N.
Il-punti
- Kull ittra għandha valur — tarah bħala numru żgħir fuq l-ittra. Ittri rari jiswew aktar.
- Kull ittra wara r-raba' tagħtik 2 punti żejda, għalhekk kliem twil jagħti aktar.

About Kelmasel
Kelmasel is a free Maltese word game with a new puzzle every day. The name blends kelma (word) and għasel (honey): like a bee gathering honey, you gather words from the letters in the honeycomb.
There's no account to create and nothing to download. Open the site and today's puzzle is waiting for you.
How to play
Each day you get seven letters arranged in a honeycomb: one in the centre and six around it. You get 5 words to score as many points as you can — so choose well!
- Words must be at least 4 letters long.
- Every word must include the centre letter.
- Letters can be used more than once.
- Wrong words don't count — you don't lose one of your 5.
GĦ and IE
The Maltese alphabet has 30 letters, and GĦ and IE are letters in their own right. In Kelmasel they sit in a single cell of the honeycomb and count as one letter. For example, għajn (eye) has 4 letters: GĦ-A-J-N.
Scoring
- Every letter has a value — shown as a small number on the letter. Rare letters are worth more.
- Every letter after the 4th earns 2 bonus points, so longer words score more.

Example: if the letters are A in the centre with J, L, O, I, M, P around it:
ilma (water) = 5 points · majjal (pig) = 9 + 4 = 13 points · mimlija (full) = 10 + 6 = 16 points

When does the new puzzle come out?
Every day at midnight, Malta time. Everyone plays the same puzzle on the same day.
Can I see the answers?
Once you've used your 5 words, you can see all of today's words and their points.
Why wasn't my real word accepted?
Each puzzle has a hand-picked word list. If you type a word that exists but isn't on the list, the game tells you it's a valid word but not in today's list — and you don't lose one of your 5 words.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in your browser on your device. If you close the page and come back the same day, your words will still be there.
Where do the words come from?
The words for each puzzle are picked by hand.
